Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Central NJ Area client to find and qualify candidates for their Director of Telecom Procurement position. This person will be part of the Global Procurement Organization, having global responsibility to lead, facilitate or support cross-divisional sourcing teams incorporating division Procurement Category Managers and IT/Telecommunications Functional Managers to achieve technology goals specific to networks / voice / data / wireless (telecommunications) spend.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have significant work experience in network / voice / data / wireless technology procurement and managing supplier relationships; e.g., AT&T, Verizon, etc. Candidates must have highly honed negotiation skills, developed through significant deal making experience as well as proven experience leading cross divisional or functional teams. Experience writing and generating RFP's, RFI's and RFQ's to suppliers is required. Candidates must have Good quantitative/analytical skills and good project management skills.
